Know about LUNAR PANDEMIC - A real threat for the universe

LUNAR PANDEMIC - A real threat for the universe   In May 2020, as many of us stockpiled food and retreated indoors to escape the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the American astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley entered quarantine. In two weeks, they would lift off for the International Space Station, restoring the United States’ capacity to send humans into space. But now they waited, receiving only a trickle of visitors thoroughly screened for COVID. While a routine part of NASA’s long-standing ‘Flight Crew Health Stabilization Program’ (2010), their quarantine made headlines around the world. The astronauts, it seemed, were just like us. NASA’s quarantine programme formally dates back to Apollo 14 , the mission that would land the fifth and sixth astronauts on the Moon in 1971. Yet it really began with Apollo 11 : the first lunar landing. Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins entered quarantine three weeks before lift-off in July 1969. Then as no

Short Story - TulipMania - A real story of 1st financial buble in 17th Century

Right now, it’s Bitcoin. But in the past we’ve had dotcom stocks, the 1929 crash, 19th-century railways and the South Sea Bubble of 1720. All these were compared by contemporaries to “tulip mania”, the Dutch financial craze for tulip bulbs in the 1630s. Bitcoin, according some sceptics, is “ tulip mania 2.0 ”.   Monkeys dealing in tulips. When the bubble bursts, at the far right, one urinates on the now worthless flowers. Jan Brueghel the Younger, 'Satire on Tulip Mania', c1640, CC BY-SA . What was this Tulip Mania ? Tulip mania was a period when tulips were recently introduced and bought in large quantities by many people. This caused tulip prices to shoot up. They were sold at prices higher than skilled workers’ income. After reaching a peak, tulip prices crashed, leaving tulip holders bankrupt. Some argue that it was the first major economic bubble. The History of Tulip Mania ? Tulips first arrived in Western Europe in the late 1500’s, and, being an import f

Discovery of Woman Hunter The woman, discovered in the Andean highlands, was dubbed Wilamaya Patjxa individual 6, or “WPI6”. She was found with her legs in a semi-flexed position, with the collection of stone tools placed carefully next to them. These included projectile points – tools that were likely used to tip lightweight spears thrown with an atlatl(also called a spear thrower). The authors argue that such projectile points were used for hunting large animals. WPI6 was between 17 and 19 years old at the time of death.
