ULTIMATE GUIDE TO SET UP FREE CUSTOM DOMAIN ON BLOGSPOT BLOG

Hi friends in this article we will discuss free domain setup for the Blogspot blog. Friends, we are talking here only about the Blogspot blog as we know paid domain purchase is not possible for everyone. So here you can also get an option for registering a free Domain beside your blog name.

When we create a blog on blog address looks like "myblog.blogspoot.com" really big name to remember for your followers or your blog's new visitors but if you purchase a domain or get free domain the blog address looks like www.myblog.com or www.myblog.tk. Which is really good to look and to remember.

Now we will discuss the process of setting up a free custom domain for Blogspot blog  - step by step -

Step 1

Click Here or go to freenom.com-

Step 2:

now write your blog name on finding a free domain -press chek availability.

Step 3:

Now there is various domain name like myblog.tk, myblog.ml, myblog.ga... .cf, etc. appears on-screen with free tag. Now press on getting it now- now select checkout.

Select 12 months free.

Then if you not registered with freenom give your email id in verifying email box. A verification link will go to your mail inbox.

Now click on the verification link ---> Now a new window open with review and checkout with Your Details as per screenshot 3.

Now feel up the form and tick "I have agreed with terms and conditions" press complete order. As per Screen Shot 4.

Now an order confirmation page will open with your order no. Press "click here go to client area" as per screenshot 5.

For pre-registered users on Freenom sign in with email----- go to freenom dashboard ----go to cart ---press a tick on the form -- Press complete order.

Step 4:

Now come on to your blogger dashboard.

Go to Setting ----- Go to basic----- Blog Address---- Set up third party URL ----- now in third party domain write your blog new address in a blank box-like "www.myblog.tk" as per screen shot.----

Step 5:

Now come to Freenom dashboard ---- click my domain--- click manage domain

Now open  2 rows by clicking the "Add More" row as per the screenshot.

On 1st Row and 2nd-row select type "CNAME"  and TTL is "3600"

The 1st-row name "www" and target "ghs.google.com" and in 2nd row write name and target as per your blog address page showing as per Screen Shot-6.  Now Take a Look at Screen Shot 7.

Now Press on Save Changes. After you click save change a pop-up message shows that your setting change successfully. Take a look at Screen Shot 8.

Step 6:

Now come to Blog Address and press Save if it not done then save again after one minute. Now the page of the blogger dashboard looks like Screen Shot 9.

Now the page looks like that and You have done Your job. After a one to three-hour press view blog and show you are directed to the new URL, which has your newly set domain.
